The illustrations reproduced here are from a large series of chomolithographic plates from the Army and Navy Gazette beginning in 1888. The twelve plates chosen are of the Scottish regiments (Royals Scots Greys, Scots Guards, Royal Scots (The Lothian Regiment), Royal Scots Fusiliers, Highland Light Infantry, Gordon Highlanders, The Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), etc.)
