CRC Press, 2023. — 258 p. — (Human Factors in Design, Engineering, and Computing). — ISBN 978-1-032-46823-5.
Человеческий фактор в инженерии.
This book addresses aspects of human factors in engineering and provides a detailed discussion of novel approaches, systems engineering tools, artificial cognitive systems, and intelligent technologies and automation. It presents applications in diverse areas, including digital manufacturing, transportation, infrastructure development, and cybersecurity.
The technologies which are part of Industry 4.0 infrastructure are of cutting-edge nature. It includes cloud computing, virtual and augmented reality, automated guided vehicle, sensors, robots, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and analytics, simulation machine-to-machine communication, cyber physical systems, and Artificial Intelligence. Each of the technologies has different application in a wide range of fields. The manufacturing, especially smart and intelligent manufacturing, is also possible due to integration of various Industry 4.0 technologies. One key technology which is highly necessary for smart and intelligent manufacturing is referred to as digital twin. The digital twin is not a new technology, apart from those mentioned earlier. However, digital twin is an innovative integration of some of Industry 4.0 technologies such as cyber-physical system, simulation, Big Data and analytics, cloud computing, and virtual and augmented reality, etc.
